How do I enroll my student in Commandeur's Bay Academy, and how much are the annual tuition fees?
At CBA enrollment and payment of tuition fees are made easy. We at CBA will guide you step by step through the process.
CBA enrollment can take place at any time throughout the calendar year, and only requires a simple application and document process so that our student's records and files are created. Parents and students will meet with the school's director, Robert Gibson, and review the basics of how CBA's blended learning program works, and the valuable educational services and benefits that are offered at Commandeur's Bay Academy. Parents and students are informed of the types of diagnostic assessments and placement tests the student will be asked to undertake, as well as numerous skill building activities that students will be involved with via traditional and non-traditional classroom vehicles. CBA will need the parent to authorize CBA to be listed as a learning coach where necessary, and have the authority to create online user accounts for many educational sites (including the downloading of necessary software for educational purposes). Parents will then receive all assigned account information, usernames, and passwords for the student. This will allow CBA and parents to monitor all of the student's daily class assignments, grades, schedule, and records. It also allows for CBA to work closely with the private online school's faculty, administration, and technical support staff. A final review of basic school rules and expectations is conducted, and CBA tution is submitted. Welcome to Commandeur's Bay Academy! Your child has now been officially enrolled in CBA's Blended Learning Center, it is as simple as that!
The next step involves the choice and enrollment of the student into an accredited or non-accredidated online school or program. Typically, once initial student assessment and skill level evaluations are completed, parents will need to select the online private school of their choice to enroll their child in for the school year. CBA recommends that parents explore a number of options available to be able to make a well informed decision. Parents can always consider other online programs as additional options not listed on our CBA website, and CBA will help them in making appropriate choices with these additional programs and schools too. CBA will always be there to assist in the online school and academic program selection process so that you can make the decision that best fits your student's needs, as well as your budget.
Next, the parent enrolls the student in the school they have selected, and typically pays tuition directly to that school. All schools offer a variety payment options. Exact tuition is listed on each school's website along with all other application procedures and paperwork necessary for enrollment. If there is a tuition discount available, the school and CBA will notify you. Once the student has been enrolled in the school of their choice, it is time officially have the student begin the school year. Some schools have an exact start date, while others have a continuous open enrollment policy. All private online school policies and procedures are listed on their individual school websites.
Commandeur's Bay Academy's tuition and fees are based upon a rolling admissions policy, school services utilized, and the choice of days / hours of the week students will attend CBA on a monthly basis. The CBA campus school calendar lists all CBA vacation days. Parents are provided with a copy of the CBA school calendar via a school email. The CBA school year starts August 1st, and finishes whenever the student completes their online private school's annual academic requirements. Parents, with advice from CBA's director, can determine the length of school break before the next official school year formally begins.
Commandeur's Bay Academy is open throughout all 12 months of the calendar year (August 1st - July 31st). CBA's annual tuition fee can be paid in monthly installments. In choosing the monthly installment payment option, monthly payments are due on the 1st of every month, and no later than the 7th of each month. Amounts and methods of payments to CBA will vary depending upon the services utilized and any qualifying discounts that may be awarded and applied. This includes tuition, tutoring, skill building, counseling, educational consultation, Computer Science/ Information Technology classes, aftercare, and any other CBA provided services.
